Undercover drug-buy operation in Durham yields 13 arrests

— Responding to complaints from neighborhood residents, police arrested 13 people and confiscated crack cocaine, marijuana and cash during a narcotics buy-bust operation this week, according to police spokeswoman Kammie Michael.

Officers arrested:

• Antwan Broadie, 39, of South Roxboro Street, charged with sell and deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver and conspiracy to sell marijuana.

• Deangelo Taborn, 20, of Mebane, charged with sell and deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver, possession of marijuana and conspiracy to sell marijuana.

• Roosevelt Cromartie, 44, South Roxboro Street, charged with possession of marijuana.

• Terry Raynor, 25, of Plum Street, charged with trespassing.

• Phillip Williams, 25, of Delray Street, charged with sell and deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver and possession of marijuana.

• Thomas Webster, 22, of Brye Street, charged with sell and deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver, maintaining a dwelling for the sale of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Thomas Docher, 48, of East Umstead Street, charged with sell and deliver cocaine and possession of cocaine with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver.

• Fruquane Murphy, 17, of Fargo Street, charged with sell and deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver, maintaining a dwelling for the sale of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia and selling controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a school.

• Stanley Somerville, 33, of Sargent Place, served with orders for arrest for assault on a female and interfering with emergency communications.

• Darren McShall, 40, of East Cornwallis Road, served with warrants for felony larceny, removing shoplifting devices and conspiracy to commit felony larceny.

• Jerry Cox, 29, of Harvard Avenue, charged with conspiracy and resisting, delaying and obstructing officers.

• Joseph Kane, 24, of Juniper Street, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a dwelling for the sale of controlled substances and conspiracy.

• Tevin Cox, 21, of Sedgefield Street, charged with sell and deliver cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver and conspiracy.
