Redshirt reserve quarterback Drew Davis will transfer to Coffeyville Community College, UNC announced Wednesday.

“I appreciate the opportunity Coach (Larry) Fedora gave me to be a member of the team,” Davis said in a release. “I’ve met so many great people during my time in Chapel Hill and I will miss seeing them on a daily basis. I’m looking forward to joining the team in Coffeyville and competing for the quarterback position.”

Davis is son of former UNC coach Butch Davis.
