Chapel Hill choral music publisher Hinshaw Music hosts a choral concert Friday at Raleigh’s Edenton Street United Methodist Church. The concert, part of the company’s annual summer workshop, features the premiere of Dan Forrest’s “Requiem for the Living,” along with works by John Rutter and David Schwoebel. The performance is by the Bel Canto Company, conducted by Welborn Young. 8 p.m. Free. 919-933-1691 or hinshawmusic.com.
