Beer, Bourbon, BBQ
Get your fill of 60 beers, 40 bourbons and God-knows-how-many pounds of barbecue at the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival this weekend at Koka Booth Amphitheatre. Admission gets you a souvenir glass and unlimited beer and bourbon tastings. Tasting seminars, live music, contests and exhibits will provide the backdrop for a hog-wild weekend.

Join Auggie the pig and the rest of the gang at Durham’s Museum of Life and Science in celebrating Watermelon Day 2013.

Art in the park
Head to the Historic Yates Mill County Park for arts and crafts activities that reflect the park itself. At the park you will be transported to the days of the agriculture boom and learn all about the local history. Under the sea
The VaudeVillain Revue presents “Enchantment Under the Sea” at Durham’s Motorco Music Hall. Narwhals, sailors and “upside-down” mermaids abound at this show for all ages.
