Whee Kim carded a 6-under 65 on Friday to jump into the top spot of the Mylan Classic.
Kim, who had missed five of his last six cuts entering this event, finished two rounds at Southpointe Golf Club at 11-under-par 131.
Blayne Barber also shot 65 to move into second place at 10-under. Ben Martin (67) owns third at 9-under, while Cliff Kresge (67) sits in fourth at 8-under 134.
Nick Rousey (65), Kevin Kim (67), I J Jang (67) and Guy Boros (69) occupied fifth at minus-7.
First-round leader Zack Sucher managed an even-par 71 during his second round to drop into a share of ninth place with Steve Wheatcroft (70) and Brad Elder (68) at 6-under.
