Statistically speaking: Small business owners are concerned about health care law changes

In its Second Quarter Small Business Survey, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce found that the change in health care laws is the top concern for small business owners.

71% Small businesses that say the health care law makes it harder to hire.

30% Owners prepared for the requirements of the health care law.

25% Small-business owners who said they are unaware of the law’s requirements.

50% Affected owners who said they will reduce employees’ hours or replace full-time employees with part-time ones to avoid the mandate.
