Stylin’: Duchess Kate’s favorite boot designer hosts show at Saks

Shoe designer Marvin K., founder and creative director of Aquatalia by Marvin K., will visit Saks Fifth Avenue in Triangle Town Center on Thursday. Marvin K.’s boots gained major attention in recent years after being worn repeatedly by the Duchess of Cambridge, formerly Kate Middleton. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the designer will debut his fall collection and offer personal styling to shoppers during the event. Trunk show

Traditions by Anna will host an “Everything Else” trunk show event Friday and Saturday. The show features veils, jewelry and accessories by Toni Federici, bridesmaid and rehearsal dinner dresses and men’s ties by LulaKate and mother-of-the-bride and mother-of-the-groom dresses by Lea-Ann Belter. Marc Jacobs at Sephora

Celebrated fashion designer Marc Jacobs debuts his new beauty line at Sephora stores on Friday. This is the first full cosmetic line for the designer, who has a collection of fragrances under his name. Only available at Sephora, the line includes everything from concealer to nail polish. Sephora has locations in the Triangle at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh and The Streets at Southpoint in Durham.

Girls Night Out

Soiree in the City Girls Night Out is a chance to have fun for a good cause from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at HUB Raleigh. Presented by Pink Pumps, Thik and Kurly and Natural Icon, the event includes shopping booths from local small businesses, beauty treatments at a beauty bar, drinks, desserts and more. Bridal show
