Scout builds trash area

Samuel Stephen Gay has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.

For his project, Sam designed and directed the building of a trash and recycling receptacle at the St. Michael School fields in Cary.

Sam, the son of Chuck and Cindy Gay, is a member of Troop 216 and a rising junior at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh.
