RALEIGH — Sheriffs deputies charged a 35-year-old Raleigh man Saturday with assault on a female, accusing him of throwing a urine sample on a nurse after his arrest.
Arrest warrants show John Montgomery Holmes of 4931 Liles Road also charged with intoxicated and disruptive, second-degree trespassing, assault on a government official, resisting a public officer and malicious conduct by a prisoner.
Warrants described Holmes as being intoxicated at City Limits Saloon, refusing to leave when asked by a manager and later kicking a deputy. Further warrants said Holmes then threw a plastic container of urine as a member of the WakeMed campus police, which splashed on a nurses upper body and neck.
Bail was set at $30,000.
