CLAYTON — Johnston County authorities closed N.C. 42 east of Clayton about 6 a.m. Wednesday after a box truck carrying meat overturned, they said.
No one was hurt in the accident, which was reported at 6:12 a.m., the county 911 center said.
Crews were working to clean up the scene.
