Puppeteers create the illusion of a large dinosaur eating a smaller one Thursday evening, Aug. 7, 2013 as Paperhand Puppet Intervention rehearsed at UNC's Forest Theatre. Paperhand Puppet Intervention debuts “Invisible Earth” Friday in Chapel Hill. The show comes to Raleigh in September.

The always inventive and imaginative Paperhand Puppet Intervention is back in Chapel Hill’s Forest Theater for its 14th annual end-of-summer production. This time it’s “Invisible Earth,” exploring the mysteries of nature and the workings of the world. There are giant masks, stilt walkers, shadow puppets and more, all with live music. 7 p.m. Friday-Sunday (through Sept. 8). $8-$12. 919-923-1857 or paperhand.org. (Also at N. C.
