Boredom sets in
In his message to the Raleigh CEO forum, Gov. Pat McCrory focused on state government’s day-to-day operations and told the audience, “It’s boring stuff – operations – but that’s what I spend 80 percent of my time on” (Aug. 23 news story).
If our governor is so bored with his relatively new job, maybe he should have stayed in Charlotte – stuck to his knitting, as state Rep. Paul Stam would say – and perhaps learned to bake his own cookies.
