Mary Cameron VanGraafeiland and Brian Michael Malone were married on Sunday, June 30th, 2013 at Park Alumni Center/The State Club on NCSU Centennial Campus with a reception following. Reverend Edward F. Hill, II officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter VanGraafeiland of Raleigh. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Michael Francis Malone of Racine, Wisconsin.
Julianne Treme VanGraafeiland, sister-in-law of the bride of Raleigh, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa Bolton Lowrance and Sallie Robey Permar, both of Raleigh, Alexus Taylor Bell and Diane Kelley Malone, both of Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Best man was Mark Robert Malone, brother of the groom of Whitewater, Wisconsin. Groomsmen were Jason Allen Anderson and Christopher James Simpson, both of Austin, Texas, Chad Daniel Harbach of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Peter Bohan VanGraafeiland of Raleigh. Readers were Jeremy Daniel Gomez of Austin, Texas, Morgan Hinton Lyon of Raleigh, Ashley Bridgeman Poole of Washington DC and Mark Robert Malone. Allen Wilder Lowrance and Margaret Wilson Lowrance were program attendants.
The bride was presented at the 1994 North Carolina Debutante Ball sponsored by the Terpsichorean Club of Raleigh. She is a graduate of Broughton High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She is Director of Publicity for Warner Bros. Pictures in New York City. The groom graduated from St. Catherine’s High School in Racine, Wisconsin and St. Norbert College in DePere Wisconsin and is employed by ESquared Hospitality in New York City.
After a honeymoon to Turks and Caicos, the couple is living in New York City.
