From Staff ReportsAugust 27, 2013

— Investigators are offering a reward for information that may lead to the arrest of the person responsible for the death of a 41-year-old man in North Durham last spring.

It was just after midnight April 30 when police found the body of Kevin Ramon Leathers inside a home at 1811 Guess Road.

Someone had beat Leathers to death and investigators are still trying to determine a motive, according to police spokeswoman Kammie Michael.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the Durham Police Department at 919-560-4440 at extension 29337, or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests. Callers do not have to identify themselves.
