RALEIGH — A Raleigh man has died of injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash on Saturday.
Bradley Lawrence Pelletier, 52, was riding his Harley-Davidson on Wake Forest Road just after midnight when he was struck at an intersection by a Chevrolet passenger car.
Raleigh police charged Lakeshia Jones, 25, with driving while intoxicated and failing to yield the right of way, according to a police report.
Jones was making a left-hand turn when her sedan hit the motorcyclist, who was crossing the intersection of Wake Forest Road and Creekside Drive with a green light, police say. There were two passengers in her 1992 sedan, police report.
Police announced Pelletier’s death on Saturday afternoon. So far, they have not added charges against Jones. She lives in Sanford.
