Speech wins local contests

Tierra Marsh won the regional and zone levels of the Optimist Club of Raleigh’s “Why My Voice is Important” oratorical contest.

Tierra Marsh of Wake Forest-Rolesville High School (now Wake Forest High School) won the regional and zone levels of the Optimist Club of Raleigh’s oratorical contest.

She went on to compete at the district level in the contest, whose theme was “Why My Voice is Important.”
