John and Jan were married August 30, 1963 in Orlando Florida. They celebrated their anniversary in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with their family.

Daughter, Heather, and her husband Jim and grandchildren, Alexandra and Ryan, live in Richmond. Son, John, and wife Maxine live in Roanoke.

John and Jan moved to North Ridge 36 years ago.
