Statistically speaking: Small businesses offer better customer service than larger firms

A recent Customer Service Statistics survey by, a website that compares and reviews credit cards, showed that 68 percent of the more than 1,000 respondents said small businesses follow up after a transaction. Here are other findings:

65% think small businesses exceed their expectations.

71% said small businesses anticipate their needs.

42% think big businesses anticipate their needs.

96.9% said small-businesses say “thanks.” for their business

80.8% said big businesses offer up a “thank you.”
