Fifth grader wins Johnston spelling bee

Adrian Lewis won the Johnston County Junior Spelling Bee last spring by correctly spelling “dyslexia.”

Adrian, a fifth-grader last spring at Corinth-Holders Elementary School in Zebulon, outlasted 22 other contestants from Johnston County Schools. His spelling bee coach was teacher Jennifer Bullock.
