THE RAVENSCROFT SCHOOL

A self-portrait by Bella Kron, a senior at Raleigh’s The Ravenscroft School last year, was displayed in an exhibition in the U.S. Department of Education’s Lyndon Baines Johnson Building in Washington, D.C.

The exhibit, hosted by the U.S. Department of Education and the N.C. Art Education Association, was on display in June and July, with a ceremony and opening on June 21. The show, “Artful Expressions: From the Mountains to the Sea,” featured 61 works from N.C. students and was part of the U.S. Department of Education’s ongoing Student Art Exhibit Program.
