— A man charged with murder in a July shooting in Garner and woman accused of being an accessory were returned to Wake County on Tuesday from Georgia , where they were captured.

Ramon Antonyo Black, 25, and Ciara Timesha Jefferies, 24, were arrested last month in Savannah, Ga., where both live, according to arrest reports.

Black is charged with murder in the shooting death July 31 of Kyevon Daites Frazzell Gayles, 35, outside the Westchester Apartments across Seventh Avenue from the Garner police station.

Jefferies is charged with being an accessory after the fact.

Police have disclosed little information about the killing, including whether Black and Jefferies knew Gayles or why they were in Garner.

Black was being held without bail and Jefferies was being held in lieu of $1 million bail, with both scheduled for a court appearance Wednesday.
