Mrs. Manny Gerard Tejano

Katherine Meredith Pfohl and Manny Gerard Tejano were united in marriage in a nuptial mass on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at two o’clock in the afternoon at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Raleigh. Monsignor David D. Brockman, V.G. officiated. A reception given by the bride’s parents at North Ridge Country Club began with cocktails and was followed by an evening of dinner and dancing. On the eve of the wedding the groom’s father hosted a rehearsal dinner at Saint Jacques.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Matthew Pfohl of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Bernice Charlotte Pfohl of Raleigh, the late Mr. Joseph Jerome Pfohl of Buffalo, NY, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bechtel of Buffalo, NY.

The groom is the son of Mr. Manny Regis Tejano of Milford, CT, and the late Dr. Alexine Cosip Tejano of Waterbury, CT. He is the grandson of Mrs. Rosario Cosip of Cebu, Philippines, the late Mr. Sofronio Cosip of Cebu, Philippines, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Benito Tejano of Cebu, Philippines.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. The Matron of Honor was Mrs. Elisabeth A. Pfohl Sasser, of Raleigh, the sister of the bride. Other bridal attendants were Dr. Mary Elizabeth Grimley Prieur of Chapel Hill, NC, Mrs. Barbara Maria Stephen of Conshohocken, PA, and Ms. Catherine Anne Clifford of Brooklyn, NY. Miss Madeleine Bechtel Sasser, niece of the bride, served as an honorary flower girl.

Mr. Dwight Alex Tejano, of Alexandria, VA, served as Best Man for his brother. Additional groomsmen were Mr. Donald Douglas Cosip, cousin of the groom, of Agawam, MA, Mr. Edward Antony Stephen of Conshohocken, PA, and Mr. Evan Dominic Nikolich of Seattle, WA.

Ms. Nour Marwan Dib of New York, NY and Mr. James Edward McKenna III of Middletown, CT greeted the guests. Mr. Benjamin David Rossi and Mr. Christopher David Rossi, of Waterbury, CT, served as ushers. Mr. Todd Alan Lanouette of Waterbury, CT and Mr. Edward Norbert Murak of Lewisberry, PA were readers.

The bride is a graduate of Ravenscroft School. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from Villanova University in Villanova, PA, and a Master of Business Administration from Meredith College. She is employed with Sunrock Group Holdings Corporation as Vice President of Administration.

The groom is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury, CT. He received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Villanova University. He is the Manager of IT Engineering Services for Carolina Sunrock.

After a honeymoon in Bali, the newlyweds will reside in Raleigh.
