David McAllister: Pistols and patrons

Pistols and patrons

Now that our Republican-dominated legislature has passed a totally irrational law that permits our residents to carry concealed weapons into establishments that serve alcohol, it is imperative that we avoid doing business with any establishment that permits concealed weapons.

It is my understanding that business owners have the right to prohibit concealed weapons, and this is an appeal to N.C. residents to insist that all restaurants and bars that serve alcohol post signs on their establishments and notices on their websites that concealed weapons are prohibited.
