Hilary Jane Stoddard and Andrew Thomas Wales were married September 6, 2013 at the Capital City Club in Raleigh.

Hilary is the daughter of Edward and Nancy Stoddard of Raleigh. Andy is the son of the late Charles Paddock (Pad) Wales III and Sherry Gupton of Raleigh, and the stepson of Mike Gupton.

A graduate of Hampshire College, Hilary is a freelance graphic designer. Andy holds a B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Southern Maine. He is employed by Wake County Public Libraries.

The Best Man was Graham Wales of Kitty Hawk, brother of the groom; Nate Stoddard of Boston, the bride’s cousin, served as “Natron” of Honor. Maggie Leidheiser-Stoddard and Jennifer Stoddard, the bride's sisters, served as officiant and reader, respectively. Groomsmen were Paul Mobley, Michael Pearce, Graham Benson, Thomas Konneker, and John Halley. Bridesmaids were Natalie Ma, Casey Stoddard, Audrey Klenzak, and Molly Klenzak.

After a honeymoon in the Philippines and Hong Kong, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
