Wide Open Bluegrass Street Festival

Fayetteville Street, noon-11 p.m. All music is free.

Features the whole hog barbecue championship and music on various stages. The N.C. Bluegrass Pavilion also will be free to the public in the Raleigh Convention Center.

City Plaza Stage – Wayne Taylor & Appaloosa, The Bankesters, The Spinney Bros, Newton & Thomas, Red Wine, The Kruger Brothers, The Boxcars, The SteelDrivers.

Martin Street Stage Nixon, Blevins & Gage, Al Batten & The Bluegrass Reunion, Big Fat Gap, Bryan Sutton with Courtney Hartman, Red June, The Williamson Brothers, Lou Reid and Carolina, Balsam Range.

Hargett Street Stage – Old Man Luedecke, Lindsay Lou & the Flatbellys, Jerron Paxton, Finnders & Youngberg, The Stray Birds, The Honeycutters, The Steel Wheels, 23 String Band.

Youth Stage – Regional Junior Appalachian Musicians, Moore Brothers Band, Kids on Bluegrass.

Dance Tent – Square Dance with The Southern String Band, Green Grass Cloggers with Five Points Rounders, Square Dance with Five Points Rounders, Open Dance with Mel Melton & the Wicked Mojos.

Raleigh Convention Center Stage, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Red Hat Amphitheater, 11:45 a.m.-11 p.m.

Raleigh Convention Center – Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road, The Spinney Brothers, Rob Ickes & Jim Hurst, Marty Raybon & Full Circle, Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen, Claire Lynch Band, Blue Highway, Bryan Sutton, Barry Bales, Noam Pikelny, Ronnie McCoury, Gabe Witcher, Balsam Range, The Boxcars.

Red Hat Amphitheater – The Grass Cats, Druhá Tráva, The SteelDrivers, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Greensky Bluegrass, The Del McCoury Band, Punch Brothers. The closing act, at 9:30 p.m., is an epic collaboration with Del McCoury, Sam Bush, Bela Fleck, Tony Rice, Jerry Douglas and Mark Schatz.

Bluegrass Ramble Evening Concerts

10 p.m.-2 a.m. Each venue is $10 at the door.
