Randy Sieg: Obamacare not helping employment

Obamacare not helping

Now is the time for Congress to act. It is not enough to defund Obamacare; it needs to be repealed. Obamacare has not gone into effect, and it is already having a negative effect on the world’s greatest workforce.

Many companies, including Congress, have asked for exemptions so that they do not have to abide by all of the provisions of Obamacare. Other companies have begun to lay off employees so they can afford the extra expenses caused by Obamacare. Some companies are reducing employee hours for the same reason.

Obama’s economic policies have already had a significant negative effect on the workforce. A record number of workers have given up and stopped looking for work, bringing actual unemployment numbers to over 10 percent. And I might add that women and minorities have been hardest hit. Congress must repeal Obamacare before it destroys our workforce and our health care system.
