The Realtor Foundation of the Triangle’s Community Service Committee awarded eight scholarships to Wake County students this year.
The largest scholarship, worth $2,500, went to Stephanie Chien of Raleigh Charter High School. In addition to maintaining a high grade-point average, she also organized community service projects at a Ronald McDonald House and served as a teaching assistant at a Chinese school.
Scholarships worth $1,000 were awarded to Hannah Moyles of Wake Forest-Rolesville High School and Colleen Kane of Sanderson High in Raleigh. Scholarships for $500 went to Jacob Coats of Rolesville High School, Lauren Longobardo of Holly Springs High School, Alec Martschenko of Cary High School, Tanner Erleman of Apex High School and Lauren Norris of The Ravenscroft School in Raleigh.
