Wake Forest couple arrested, charged with trafficking drugs

WAKE FOREST A 68-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman face felony charges of possessing and distributing heroin, cocaine and marijuana.

Edward Walker Jr. and Pamela Davis Brown were charged Wednesday by Wake County deputies with having 28 grams or more of heroin, 105 grams of cocaine, and 5 grams of marijuana.

Walker and Brown, both of 2313 Chester St., are accused of using their residence to keep and sell powder cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and heroin.

Edward Walker Jr. has owned the 0.9-acre property since 2005, according to property records.

Both are charged with: possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver heroin; possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine; possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana; trafficking in cocaine; trafficking in heroin; felony maintaining a dwelling; and conspiracies to traffic in both cocaine and heroin.

They were being held Wednesday night at the Wake County Detention Center, their bail set at $100,000 each.

An arrest warrant also named Edward Walker III, 38, as a co-conspirator, but there was no record of him being held at the Wake County Detention Center.
