Raleigh’s Rebus Works is hosting a food truck dining and beer pairing event from noon-4 p.m. Saturday called “Pop A Top.”

The event pairs New Belgium Brewing Co. beers with dishes from seven food trucks. The trucks will offer a $4 sample dish to go along with the $4 beers. Here is the line-up: Chirba Chirba Dumpling with Ranger IPA, Blue Sky Dining with Shift Pale Lager, The Urban Street Grillwith 1554, The Great Escape with Rampant IPA, Baton Rouge Cuisine with Trippel and GerDan Chocolates with Accumulation.

The event also will include a deejay and face painting for the children. Plus there will be a do-it-yourself silkscreen station where folks can print their own koozies in exchange for a small donation to Wiley Elementary School’s Backpack Buddy program, which sends food home to families in need via their child’s backpack.

The event is at 301 Kinsey St., Raleigh, 919-754-8452, Info: rebusworks
