Overturned truck slows traffic on westbound I-40 in Raleigh

— An overturned tractor-trailer has shut down two lanes of westbound Interstate 40 on the southeast side of Raleigh.

Westbound I-40 traffic between Poole and Rock Quarry roads was merged into one lane as emergency workers responded to the crash.

The Raleigh Police Department is urging drivers to use other routes until the accident was cleared.
