Regarding your Oct. 2 headline “Policy on grilling students advances”: That finally defines the long-standing school cafeteria question, “What is mystery meat?” Unfortunately, it does not clarify the North Carolina barbecue debate. Word has it that the students’ parents generally prefer the tomato-based sauce while the school principals lean toward vinegar-based.
