A new home for Centsible Saver blog

Posted by Amy Dunn on October 9, 2013

Welcome to the new home for the Centsible Saver blog, the Triangle’s go-to source for frugal tips and tricks on how to save more and spend less.

The blog’s new address is: newsobserver.com/centsiblesaver so please save it in your bookmarks.

You’ll notice that much of the new blog is the same but there are a few noteworthy additions.

First, along with the navigational tabs that provide shortcuts to the drugstore deals and grocery deals posts, you’ll notice two new tabs that will come in handy.

The “Coupon Database” tab that will take you directly to a regularly updated list of the coupons contained in Sunday’s N&O. And we’ve added another tab, “Ask a Question/Share a Deal.” That’s your place to ask me or your fellow readers a question or tell us all about a good deal you’ve found.

Please be patient with us. Some tabs are still under construction.

For those of you who like to print out my deals lists, I’ve got great news. With the new format, that job will be a lot easier. You’ll no longer have to download a Word document. Instead, just click on the printer icon directly below and to the right of the headline.

Also directly below the headline, you’ll find links to share my posts via social media. With the click of a button, you’ll be able to share on Facebook and Twitter, or send a post via email to yourself or a friend.

And finally, the method for commenting on the blog has changed. Comments will now go through Facebook, which was a recent change made throughout newsobserver.com. For more information on the new commenting policy, click HERE.

News & Observer is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
