Glenville St. names women's basketball coach

GLENVILLE, W.Va. — Glenville State has named Charles Marshall as its women's basketball coach.

Marshall replaces Bunky Harkleroad, who resigned Wednesday to accept a similar job at Sacramento State.

Marshall was a Glenville State assistant coach in the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.

Harkleroad went 91-31 in four seasons at Division II Glenville State, including a 27-4 record last season.

Glenville State has exhibition games at Duke on Oct. 30 and at Western Kentucky on Nov. 3. The Pioneers open the regular season Nov. 9 against Virginia Union.
