— The Oklahoma State softball team has split a doubleheader with Tulsa.

The Cowgirls won Friday's game one 3-2 and fell 4-2 in the second game.

In game one, OSU sophomore Danielle Riddle scored in the third when sophomore Tiffany Mikkelson walked with the bases loaded. They tied the game in the top of the fifth on a single by senior Simon Freeman that scored Riddle. Then junior Shelby Davis scored on a fielder's choice by junior Gessenia DeLaCruz to give OSU the 3-2 lead.

In game two, the Cowgirls took the early 2-0 lead. But Tulsa tied the game in the fourth and took a 4-2 lead on a two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth.

The Cowgirls wrap up their fall schedule on Oct. 20 at Arkansas.
