Red Sox make no roster changes for ALCS

— The Boston Red Sox are sticking with the same roster in the AL championship that they used in the division series.

That includes 11 pitchers and 14 position players.

The only one who didn't play in any of the four games against the Tampa Bay Rays in the division series is left-hander Felix Doubront. A starter throughout the regular season, he's on the roster primarily as an option for long relief.

Boston's roster has two catchers, six outfielders and six infielders, including designated hitter-first baseman David Ortiz.

The Red Sox face the Detroit Tigers on Saturday night in Game 1 of the ALCS.
