GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Phoenix Coyotes signed forward Jeff Halpern to a one-year contract Saturday. Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
The 37-year-old Halpern had a goal and two assists in 46 games last season for the New York Rangers and Montreal Canadiens. In 13 NHL seasons with Washington, Dallas, Tampa Bay, Los Angeles, Montreal and New York, he has 147 goals and 214 assists in 907 regular-season games.
