— Austin Daye scored 12 points to help the Toronto Raptors win a sloppy preseason game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, 104-97 on Saturday night.

Tyler Hansbrough was the only other Raptor in double figures with 11. The Raptors shot 50 percent to overcome 35 fouls and three technicals for delay of game, which is a point of emphasis with officials this season.

Kevin Love had 28 points and 11 rebounds in 28 minutes for the Timberwolves. But the Wolves shot just 35 percent and lost despite forcing 26 turnovers and going to the foul line for 50 shots. They missed 15 free throws.

Corey Brewer scored 13 points for Minnesota. The starting backcourt of Ricky Rubio and Alexey Shved went 0 for 11.
