Laney Elizabeth Victoria Bolick and Douglas Graham Wright were united in marriage on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at half past five o'clock, at The Little Herb House in Raleigh, NC. Pastor Chris Sasser officiated. A reception followed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bolick of Raleigh, NC, and granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl Melton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bolick of Hickory, NC. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wright of Concord, NC, and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Driggers of Brevard, NC, and Dr. and Mrs. James R. Wright of Gainesville, GA.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Elkie Wright served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Ali Howe, Megan Lebov, Juliana Lipetzky, Jana Rust, Megan Scalf, Kara Smith, Heather Stemler, and Laura Underwood. Sullivan Scalf served as flower girl.

Robert Wright served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Aaron Ingle, Alex Ingle, Cody Mackvick, E. J. Scalf, Scott Stafford, Daniel Steed, Austin Wright, and Ben Wright. Ushers were Aaron Culler, Jon Dobson, and Andrew Lancaster. Beau Roberts served as ring bearer.

Music was provided by Brentice Bush and Tyler Parker. Kate Odgers was the soloist and scripture reader. Charles Lewis was also a scripture reader. A memorial candle for the bride's brother was lit by Ben Efird, Drew Hill, Mike Hung, and Jason Sasser. Catherine Schaffeld and Maddie Wright served as program attendants.

The bride received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from North Carolina State University in 2011 and a Masters in School Counseling from Appalachian State University in 2013. The groom is a 2013 graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Managment . He is employed as a Staff Associate with Young Life in Mount Airy, NC. The couple spent their honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and lives in Pinnacle, NC.
