Holding fast to its agricultural origin, the N.C. State Fair offers a slate of hit-making country and bluegrass acts. Appearing in the steel-and-glass Dorton Arena are young traditionalist Joe Nichols (Saturday), Florida-Georgia Line (sold out, Sunday), N.C. State sophomore and Garner native Scotty McCreery (Monday and Tuesday), and award-winning bluegrass duo, Dailey and Vincent (Wednesday).
