Roy Brock: The governor’s mansion outhouse

October 18, 2013

In reference to Gov. Pat McCrory initially agreeing to spend $230,000 to redo mansion bathrooms (“McCrory to spend $230,000 to redo mansion bathrooms,” Oct. 12 news story), I have a better idea how taxpayers can save money. Place an outhouse behind the mansion with a cold shower attached. This parallels how he is treating the poor, teachers and other less fortunate in North Carolina.
