Charge: Raleigh felon had a stolen gun

— Police have arrested a Raleigh man on charges of possession of a stolen firearm by a felon.

Joseph Derron Parker, 22, of 3709 Mackinac Island Lane in Raleigh, pleaded guilty in January to a felony break-in and was sentenced to 18 months community punishment. On Friday he was charged by the Raleigh Police Department with possessing a stolen pistol.

Parker was being held at the Wake County Detention Center on $35,000 bond as of Friday night.
