Girl Scout spreads word about health

Khushboo Dass of Cary has earned the Gold Award, the highest achievement in Girl Scouting.

For her Gold Award project, Khushboo educated her community about “One Health,” a concept that promotes human, animal and environmental health. She created a brochure, organized three events at a local market, and set up an informational booth at an event at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences.

Khushboo, a recent graduate of Enloe High School in Raleigh, was a member of Troop 1860.
