Zebulon man charged with having 285 grams marijuana, stolen pistol

— A Zebulon man was arrested Tuesday on charges that he had 285 grams of marijuana and a stolen pistol in his possession.

Jamie Lavelle Daniels, 20, was charged by Zebulon police with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of marijuana with intent to sell or distribute, selling marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for the keeping and selling of marijuana.

Daniels, of 511 N. Poplar St., Zebulon, previously was convicted in September 2012 of attempted common law robbery. He was being held Tuesday night in the Wake County jail, his bail set at $75,000 bond.
