Revolutionary War battles are focus of Girl Scout Gold project

Sarah Dillingham Peterson of Cary has earned the Gold Award, the highest achievement in Girl Scouting.

For her Gold project, Sarah researched three American Revolutionary battles that took place in North Carolina and created a brochure about them for the Children of the America Revolution. She also made presentations about the battles to various local groups.

Sarah, daughter of Grant M. and Brenda S. Peterson, recently graduated from Green Hope High School and was a member of Troop 1391.
