Vancouver, BC ( - Camilo scored a hat trick on Sunday as Vancouver Whitecaps FC closed its regular season with a comfortable 3-0 victory over the Colorado Rapids at BC Place.

Despite having already been eliminated from playoff contention, Vancouver came out on the front foot and controlled the play for most of the first half before getting their reward two minutes before the break.

Rookie forward Kekuta Manneh got behind the Colorado defense and was dragged down in the box by Rapids defender Marvell Wynne, resulting in a penalty kick. Camilo stepped up and fired it down the middle for his 20th goal of the season.

After the break, Camilo netted his second goal of the night in the 74th minute and finished his hat trick five minutes from time, jumping over Chicago's Mike Magee to claim the Golden Boot award and end his season in style for Vancouver.

Colorado, meanwhile, will finish in fifth place in the Western Conference with the loss and face either Seattle or Los Angeles in the knockout round.
