Cooking classes can guide you through planning and cooking Thanksgiving dinner.

Need some help planning and cooking that Thanksgiving dinner? Here are a few upcoming cooking classes:

• The new Whisk kitchenwares store in Cary is offering a “Foolproof Thanksgiving Turkey” class at 6 p.m. Nov. 4. Cost: $49. To reserve a place: 919-322-2458 or whiskcarolina.com.

• Chapel Hill’s Southern Season store is offering a “Not Your Ordinary Thanksgiving Sides” class at 6 p.m. Nov. 14. Cost: $40. And for some new ideas on how to use up leftover turkey, there is “Turkey Part Deux” class at Southern Season at 4 p.m. Nov. 24 for $35. • The Sur la Table store at The Streets at Southpoint in Durham is offering a “Thanksgiving Baking with King Arthur Flour” at 11 a.m. Nov. 16. Cost: $69. To reserve a spot: 800-243-0852 or surlatable.com.
