Raleigh man charged with trying to hit woman with car

— A Raleigh man is accused of using a vehicle to try to kill a woman.

Larry Wayne Perry, 48, was arrested Wednesday on multiple charges, including assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury. He is accused of using an unidentified vehicle as the deadly weapon.

He also is accused of using his suspected victim’s silver-and-burgundy 1988 Chevrolet truck without her permission, failing to report an accident, and misdemeanor breaking and entering.

He was being held without bond at the Wake County Detention Center as of Wednesday night.
