Formed in 1989, Colorados enduring jam band, Leftover Salmon, labels its eclectic amalgam of musical delights Polyethnic Cajun Slamgrass. Its as good a label as any for a band that originated in bluegrass and draws inspiration from the New Grass Revival/Sam Bush-Bela Fleck if the music fits, play it school of border-busting. Leftover Salmon will kick out the jams Thursday at 9 p.m. at Cats Cradle. Jon Stickley will also perform. Details: catscradle.com
