Paul Novak: Nothing to gain

November 1, 2013

In response to Gov. Pat McCrory’s defense of North Carolina’s voter ID law (Oct. 22 news story), I would say that the Democrats, with 58 percent of registered voters, would not profit by any voting fraud. Republicans, with 42 percent of registered voters, would. Unless the governor and the Republicans in the General Assembly had a different agenda, I would think they’d be opposed to the voter ID law.
