Scout’s mural aims to inspire

Christine Marie Fry of Knightdale has received the Gold Award, the highest achievement in Girl Scouting.

For her Gold project, Christine created a two-canvas mural featuring people with North Carolina ties to inspire students to follow their dreams.

Christine, the daughter of Daryl and Maria Fry, is a recent graduate of Broughton High School in Raleigh and was a member Troop 925, led by her mother and Christine Allen.
